The B.A. Social science is offered as mono study course at the University of Rostock. The standard period of study amounts to 6 semesters. The study course includes the disciplines demography, sociology and economics. The B.A. study course is allocated to the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences. The examination office of the Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences is in charge of all study and examination matters.

Important: The B.A. Social Sciences was reformed in 2023 and is now offered at the WSF under a new name. As of winter semester 2023/24, students can enrol for the B.A. Social and Population Sciences.
